Q: Do you work on Macs?
A: Yes. However, 90% of the work I do is based on Windows machines
as there are more of them.
Q: What is your refund/warranty policy?
A: 60 days on parts and labor. Hardware also includes warranties
from their respective manufacturers.
Q: Where are you located?
A: The business is run from a home office in Castine. Most work is
done at customers' homes. I do have facilities at the home office
to do repairs if the computer needs extra attention.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: No. The cost of accepting credit cards would necessitate a large
volume of credit payments. Cash and personal checks are accepted.
Q: When do you expect payment?
A: Payment at the time services are completed is preferred.
However, I will leave a bill with the address at which payment can
be sent if this better facilitates the customer's needs. After 14
days another invoice will be sent requesting payment if not already
received.
Q: Do you make house calls?
A: YES! That's what I primarily do. I travel to you and
usually make all repairs on site. From time to time I will
need to bring a computer to my office if it needs special attention.
